Cattle breeding in the heart of South America

Pasture-led production in the Gran Chaco.

Agroganadera La Huella combines Paraguayan and European management with extensive grazing, modern production processes, and certified beef quality.

La Huella

From idea to production

On owned and leased land, La Huella runs a breeding and fattening operation with around 45,000 cattle. The focus is species-appropriate husbandry, traceable processes, and export standards for demanding markets.

Gran Chaco

A green island of pasture

La Huella sits in the heart of Paraguay, away from public electricity and water networks. Solar energy, large-scale rainwater collection, and self-built infrastructure supply the animals, the farm, and the people who live there.

Responsibility for people, animals, and land

Employee families live at the estancia. La Huella supports education, supplies, and local work opportunities while preserving large natural areas for native flora and fauna.

Together with the Wildlife Conservation Society and partners, La Huella works to protect biodiversity, pumas, and jaguars.

The farm uses only part of the land for pasture and keeps large areas in their natural state.
